The Rhinelander GFWC Woman's Club held its annual membership kick-off picnic Aug. 8 at Pioneer Park. There were 54 women in attendance, seven of whom were new members. The women discussed some of their upcoming fundraisers and enjoyed a delicious meal. The GFWC Woman's Club assists local organizations and contributes to scholarships. Monthly meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month, September through May, at 11:30 a.m. For more information, call 715-369-1972.
