Father and son Ben Olson, left, and Rod Olson, right, of Rhinelander competed in the Wisconsin State 3-Event Competition last month in Oconomowoc.

Ben scored second place in trick skiing in the Boys' 1 Division. Rod took first in tricks, first in slalom, second in jump skiing and first place overall in the Men's 4 Division.

Rod continued on to compete in the 12-state Midwest Regional 3-Event Ski Competition last month Center City, Minnesota and finished in third place in trick skiing and second place in jump skiing in the Men's 4 Division.
