Popular a cappella group Tonic Sol-fa to perform at Nicolet
The Minneapolis-based quartet performs about 100 concerts a year across 48 states and has toured internationally. The New York Times described Tonic Sol-fa as "a vocal kaleidoscope, unique to the human voice."
Along with their concerts, the group has performed numerous times on national television, including on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," NBC's "Today Show," and on PBS. They've also performed for U.S. presidents and shared the stage with the likes of Garrison Keillor, Lonestar, Montgomery Gentry, Jeff Foxworthy, Weird Al Yankovic, Bryan White, and Neal McCoy.
Their performance will include original arrangements along with familiar pop and gospel tunes all sung with contagious energy, according to a Nicolet press release.
The concert will be held in the Nicolet College Theatre located in the Lakeside Center at Nicolet College. Wine, beer, and other refreshments will be available. Tickets for Tonic Sol-fa are $20 for general admission seating. Advance tickets can be purchased at the group's website at http://store.tonicsolfa.com
Tickets are also available at the Nicolet College Box Office located within Bytes in the Lakeside Center, weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Telephone sales are not available for this concert.
