McLaughlin joins ArtStart as program and operations director
"Our programming and events have been steadily increasing over the past few years." ArtStart Board President Ken Juon said in a press release. "We are at the point of needing another staff member to implement ArtStart's current and future programs. Thanks to a core of generous community supporters, we were able to secure funds for a second paid position. Ashley's background and education, along with her enthusiasm, makes her the perfect candidate for the job."
McLaughlin brings 15 years of experience serving non-profit organizations along with her background in business, management, and marketing.
"ArtStart is a real gem and brings so much potential to the Northwoods community," McLaughlin said. "In 2015 I joined ArtStart as a volunteer and I have been impressed with the organization's structure, community support and plans for the future. I want to share my knowledge and skills to help ArtStart grow."
McLaughlin is a Rhinelander native, most recently serving as director of The Fix Is In.
ArtStart is a community based arts organization offering high-quality visual art exhibitions along with concerts, film, lectures, art classes and more.
Founded in 2012, it is located in the historic Federal building at 68 South Stevens Street, Rhinelander.
Office hours are Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Gallery hours are Thursday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
