The 2,000-square-foot facility has been entirely remodeled to provide an improved banking experience for customers which was finalized in mid-March, according to a press release announcing the completion of the project.
"Before renovations occurred, the Peoples' Minocqua location was smallerĀ and the bank wanted to provide a greater customer experience by expanding the branch," the release states. "The new additions to the building include a top-to-bottom redesign and structure add-on. Within the branch, there are three new offices dedicated to customers for privately meeting with staff, a new conference room, updated teller lines and redesigned customer service area. The branch's exterior has taken on a new look with the addition of two more lanes and easier accessibility to ATM services in drive-up banking."
Chief Operations Officer Leif Christianson stated, "Peoples State Bank had planned on remodeling for three years prior to it occurring. We realized that the location was excellent and wanted to offer a greater experience to customers with an expansion of services. We worked with the town of Minocqua to ensure we would accommodate our renovations to the town's expectations and environment."
"The community's response to the remodel has been positive to say the least," said branch manager Cory Erickson. "With the new improvements to the building, our location really stands out in the community." Peoples' staff encourages the community to visit the remodeled location at 9560 Highway 70 West, Minocqua, Wis., 54548.
