At top, Logan Wild, Jared Haug, Marcus Johnson, Tait Spencer and Alec Bess, otherwise known as Revenge of Heartbreak City, perform "How to Save a Life" during the 2016 homecoming talent show Sunday at Rhinelander High School. The group took third place. Wayne Stuart took second and the comedy team of Gracie Linsmeyer and Haley Kolb took first. Above left, another group act performs on stage. Above right, a few teachers participated in the talent show and one was crowned the best teacher in all of Rhinelander. There was a talent category, a dress up category and each teacher was asked a random question. Teachers in the competition were Ms. Thompson, Denise Zalewski, Taylor Kloehn, Mischelle Fryar and Mrs. Krueger. Kloehn won. Judges for the student talent competition were Ben Meyer from Channel 12, Chief of Police Mike Steffes, and Mike Cheslock, school district community education coordinator. Homecoming activities are planned through out the week culminating with the homecoming dance Saturday, Oct. 1. The theme is "A Night on the Red Carpet."
