Third annual Nutty Trail Run promises 'nutty excitement'
The trails of CAVOC (the Cedric A Vig Outdoor Classroom) will come alive with running shoes on Saturday, Oct. 1 as the YMCA of the Northwoods hosts the third annual Nutty Trail Run. The race will begin and end at the trailhead of CAVOC. Spectators are encouraged to cheer on the participants throughout the course while enjoying the peak scenery of autumn in the Northwoods. This single lap 5K route utilizes the beautiful CAVOC trails.

Awards will be distributed to the top three male and top three female finishers in each age bracket at the post-race awards ceremony at about 11 a.m.

Registration for the run is $35.
