Cast rehearsing for October production of 'Happy Endings'
"Written and directed by Kathleen Marie Marsh and narrated by Marcia Wahoske, this hilarious musical comedy has a first-rate lineup of performers," according to a release announcing the production. "It stars Don Franzen as the salt-of-the earth Spike; Cheryl Paulson as his estranged wife, Cherry; Pat Lowery as the wandering Irish; Gary Baum as his homesteader friend Gerhart; and Annette Neitzer as their favorite lady-of-the-evening Annabel. A wonderful supporting cast is eager to entertain what is sure to be a sold-out crowd: Shirley Ashbeck, Al and Mary Benson, Bev Gerndt, Lee Gerndt, Cindy Jonet, Jon and Kathie Marsh, Bruce Resler, Cindy Resler, and Scott Wycherley. Graciously serving as stand-in narrator is Sandee Bodoh. Adding their terrific singing voices are Jerry Bodoh, Marilyn Karow, and Kris VanderVest, These talented actors, singers, and musicians guarantee another memorable show as they say goodbye to the Red Light Saloon."
"We are also absolutely thrilled to have Jeff Mayer of Sound and Light Solutions back again this year," says director Marsh. "He's the guy who makes us all sound and look good. Jeff is currently working all over the country, but he squeezed us into his schedule this one last time."
All proceeds go to the Holt & Balcom Logging Camp Museum in Lakewood.
Admission is $8, at the door only. Musical entertainment will start a half-hour prior to each show. Beer, soda, and snacks will be available.
