On Monday, Aug. 22, the School District of Rhinelander, Rhinelander Partners in Education, and the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce worked together to host an orientation day for new district employees. The new employees spent the morning learning about school district procedures and information. The afternoon consisted of a "Welcome to Rhinelander Hodag Pride Grand Tour" led by representatives from the district, the chamber, and Rhinelander PIE. Traveling on a bus, the new group visited school buildings, parks, and various places of business. During lunch, they were addressed by a variety of community leaders, who provided information while welcoming them to the community.
