The driver of a car that was involved in a single vehicle rollover accident on County Highway H Wednesday afternoon was charged Thursday with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, third offense. According to the criminal complaint, a 2005 Toyota driven by Jeanette E. Burns, 39, of Eagle River was traveling on the road from St. Germain toward Eagle River when it left the road, entered a ditch and came to rest lying on its side against some trees. When emergency personnel arrived, they found Burns unhurt standing with some passersby. An Oneida County sheriff's deputy noticed alleged signs of intoxication and a preliminary breath test allegedly showed her over the limit. A blood draw was test was done at Ministry St. Mary's Hospital before she was booked into jail. When she made her initial appearance before Branch I Judge Patrick O'Melia, she was given a $500 cash bond. An adjourned initial appearance is set for Nov. 7. (Jamie Taylor/River News)
