Three men from the Milwaukee area have been arrested in connection with the discovery of a large marijuana grow in Forest County.

According to the Forest County sheriff's office, the county's drug task force executed a search warrant on a very large outdoor marijuana grow operation in the town of Armstrong Creek early Saturday morning.

Three individuals, Dennis J. Pratt, 51, of Waukesha, Steven P. Wasechek, 32, of Milwaukee, and Kevin M. Hying, 35, of Big Bend, were taken into custody while harvesting the plants. Inside the residence officers found marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cocaine.

All three men are being held at the Forest County jail on charges of manufacturing THC, possession with intent to deliver, possession of paraphernalia and possession of cocaine.

According to the press release, the investigation began after a concerned citizen contacted the sheriff's office to report finding a suspected marijuana grow near their property.

Sheriff John Dennee praised the deputies and other staff involved in the bust.

"This investigation is just a small part of the sheriff's office's proactive approach to working with and for communities in Forest County," the release states.
