Rhinelander's Comer named D-II baseball All-American
The NCAA Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) announced Friday that University of Minnesota-Duluth senior third baseman Kyle Comer, a Rhinelander High School graduate, has been named to the D2CCA All-America team.

Comer, who was voted a first-team All-American last week by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, had a team-high 21-game hitting streak from April 4 until May 12. Comer hit .380 this year for the Bulldogs with seven home runs and 49 RBIs. He finished with the sixth-most hits in the nation (95).
