The races were held at Rum River BMX, the top-ranked BMX track in the United States. The national series is held on 22 weekends around America. The grand national championship will take place in Tulsa, Oklahoma in November.
Hodag BMX results are as follows:
• Ashton Swaney finished sixth place in the 9-10 Open division both days;
• Owen Ives finished fifth on the first day and first on the second day in 10 Intermediate;
• Bella Johnson took fourth on Day 1 and second on Day 2 in 11 Novice;
• Raven Sturtevant finished second in girls cruiser on both days. In the 14 Girls division, she finished sixth on Day 1 and fifth on Day 2;
• Dylan Holquist placed second on the first day in 19-27 Intermediate;
• J.J. Wergin finished second on Day 2 in 28-35 Intermediate;
• Chad Johnson finished second both days in 31-35 Cruiser, second in 28-35 Intermediate on Day 1 and third in 28-35 Intermediate on Day 2;
• Robbie Deede finished fifth in 28-35 Expert on Day 2.
The club holds weekly races at West Side Park in Rhinelander. Saturday, the club will host a riders clinic, conclude a race suspended May 6 due to inclement weather, hold another full race and have a potluck lunch. Activities will begin at 9 a.m. For more information, visit www.HodagBMX.com.
