The Wisconsin Women Equal Prosperity (WW=P) organization awarded two $1,000 grants during the recent LUNAFEST film fundraiser at the Three Lakes Center for the Arts. Pictured, from left to right, are Patti Fitzpatrick, representing Rhinelander ArtStart TGI Art Fridays Children's Art Program; former Lt. Governor Barbara Lawton, Ginger Chrobak, representing the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry weekend food for kids program; and WW=P President Kris Adams Wendt. The non-profit, non-partisan WW=P initiative, originally launched statewide by Lawton in 2004 to address the status of women and children, is now based in Rhinelander.
