Presenting "My Anchor Still Holds," the Harwood family's story is one of finding hope in the midst of difficult circumstances, the church said in a press release announcing the performance.
"Their oldest daughter Laura has a muscle disease called Central Core Myopathy. Eight years later, their son Levi was diagnosed with the same condition," the release states. "Of their seven children, three are impacted by this muscle disease. At age 13, Laura wrote her first song, 'Build an Altar' and from that point the family has shared hope with those who were going through grief or suffering. The family's struggles have been turned into a passion to proclaim the hope of Christ in the middle of life's most despairing moments."
