Nicolet students take first in state BPA competitions
Nicolet College students Jake Oestreich, left, of Rhinelander, and Joe Haydon, right, of Tomahawk, took top honors in competitions at the recent Business Professionals of America (BPA) State Leadership Conference at Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland, Wis. The two teamed up to take first place in the website design competition and Haydon also won first place in the project management concepts competition. With the wins both students qualified to attend and compete at the BPA National Leadership Conference this May in Boston. Haydon will also compete in PC servicing and troubleshooting at the national conference.
