Hodag BMX'ers compete in Gold Cup qualifier
Robbie Deede placed second in the 28-35 Expert class, Chad Johnson took second in 31-35 Cruiser and third in 28-35 Intermediate, J.J. Wergin was second in 28-35 Intermediate, Ashton Swaney finished third in 9-10 Open and 9 Expert, Bella Johnson was fourth in 11 Novice, James Wergin took fifth in 6 Novice and Owen Ives was seventh in 10 Intermediate.
The Gold Cup Series is a competition pitting riders from seven states across the Midwest. The championship race in the series will be held Sept. 26 in Lincoln, Nebraska.
