"After months of careful planning and collaboration, we are ready to present our new and exciting project and the first round of students," the School District of Rhinelander stated in a press release regarding the program. "First, we have developed a very unique way to show off student work. In addition to recognition at the monthly SuperStar Assembly, student artwork will be displayed in a special location outside of the school."
According to SDR, Nicolet National Bank has partnered with Central School's art department and publicly display student work within their business.
"This is such an exciting opportunity to show off the talents of our students for the community," the district said.
According to the district students are chosen as artist of the month for their innovative thinking skills, creative applications, showcasing of exemplary learning through the project expectations, and of course, by positively demonstrating the 4Bs (Be Here, Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible).
"The hope is that promotion of such a program within the community will build confidence, pride and character within the students," the district added. "In addition, this opportunity will showcase the talents of our students for the community. The first round of student artwork will hang within Nicolet National Bank throughout the month of March. We encourage everyone to go view this artwork."
