The Rhinelander Fourth of July Parade is just days away and organizers are still looking for more entries.

Details and applications are available at the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce and at ExploreRhinelander.com.

Ripco Credit Union is once again supporting the Rhinelander Fourth of July Parade.

The credit union's $800 donation will be used to sponsor the Rhinelander High School Marching Band's performance at this year's event.

"We are thrilled to be able to sponsor the RHS Band this year" Diane Sowinski, Ripco Credit Union's vice president of marketing & business development, said in a press release. "They always look and sound so sharp - they're enthusiastic, great performers and definitely one of the highlights of the parade!"

This year's parade will be held on Monday, July 4, starting at 11 a.m. Due to the road construction and Rhinelander's Downtown Streetscape project, the 2016 route will begin at the Oneida County Courthouse.

Details as to the staging area and this year's alternate route and viewing areas are available at the chamber office.

"Rhinelander residents and visitors love our Fourth of July Parade, and a little change of venue won't dampen the excitement," predicted parade organizer Dale Schlieve "We're expecting a huge turnout."

The theme of this year's parade is "America: The Proud and The Beautiful" in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service.
