Rhinelander graduate and track standout Nathaniel Sampson will be a member of the Lakeland College men's track team, which will start its indoor track season Saturday at the Wisconsin Private College Invitational Meet at Carthage College in Kenosha.

Sampson is slated to be a part of the 4x100-meter and the 4x400-meter relay teams for the Muskies. Sampson was a member of the RHS Great Northern Conference champion 4x400 team as a senior. He was a 4-year letter winner in track, selected as a team captain as a senior, and earned track MVP honors during the 2015 season. Sampson was also awarded GNC first and second team all-conference honors in track.

Sampson was also a part of the Lakeland football team this past fall. The Muskies went undefeated NACC to qualify for the NCAA Division III football playoffs for the first time since 2005.
