RBA eighth graders win Chequamegon tournament
RBA eighth graders win Chequamegon tournament
The Rhinelander Basketball Association's eighth-grade boys' traveling team earned first place at a tournament in Park Falls Jan. 23. The Hodags defeated Lakeland Black (49-39), Drummond (53-31) and Chequamegon (32-26) to win their four-team pool.

The RBA's sixth-grade boys Green team was also in action last weekend at D.C. Everest and finished second in its pool with a 2-1 record. The Hodags defeated D.C. Everest White (37-21), lost to Eau Claire Huskies Blue (38-23) and knocked off Mosinee (50-32).
