Rhinelander Dental Center donates pocket penny drive funds to NATH Adds to annual Marshfield Clinic donation of $750 for homeless shelter
"Each team had a large jar to collect pennies, as well as silver change," Shari Danielson, center manager, said in a press release. "In the end, Dental Center employees collected $310. The entire amount was donated to Northwoods Alliance for Temporary Housing (NATH), which operates Frederick Place Homeless Shelter in Rhinelander."
In addition, Marshfield Clinic recently made the Clinic's annual donation of $750 to NATH for the operation of Frederick Place.
"Homelessness has a tremendous impact on the health of individuals, especially children," said Dr. Michael Schaars, Emergency Medicine, Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Center. "Marshfield Clinic recognizes that this organization makes a positive difference in the health and lives of our neighbors in the Northwoods, so we are happy to assist."
"The continued partnership with Marshfield Clinic and their employees is very heart warming," said Tammy Modic, executive director, NATH/Frederick Place. "The generous donations during this holiday season will be used for the operations of Frederick Place."
