Headwaters Foundation announces winners of golf scramble
According to the organization, there were 52 people who participated in the event.
"This year's tournament raised funds to support the expansion of the Foundation's Scholarship Program," Headwaters stated in a press release. "The scholarship program was established to provide funds for individuals with intellectual disabilities who are eligible for the services Headwaters offers and are unable to obtain funding from other sources. In early 2014, the foundation board expanded the scholarship program to include providing tuition for participants from Headwaters, Inc. who would like to attend classes at Nicolet College, but do not have funds to pay for tuition. Classes currently offered are Soft Skills and Employability Skills."
The team of Jerry Cleary, Dan Labodda, Jim Bloch and Bill Kenealy won the championship flight in the four-person scramble. The team of Hetland, Hetland, Jamison and Whalen took the A flight and the team of Reevs, Reevs, LaBelle and Seabloom won the B flight.
