Y to host fish dinner fundraiser for older adult department
Those attending will enjoy a baked fish dinner with buttered baby red potatoes, cole slaw, baked beans, bread, homemade apple cake, ice cream and coffee, YMCA officials said in a press release. Soft drinks will be for sale.
Proceeds from this event support the active older adult department at the Y which provides fitness, educational and social programs for all seniors in the community. It also assists with membership for seniors on a limited income assisting them in staying healthy and independent.
Advance dinner reservations are $15 for an adult, $10 for youth under 10 years old. Tickets purchased at the door are $18 per adult and $12 for youth. Tickets can be purchased at the YMCA in Rhinelander or by calling the Y at (715) 362-9622.
