The All-Stars jumped out to a quick two-run lead after the top of the first, but the Snowhawks responded with one run in the bottom of the inning and took the lead with five runs in the second.
The All-Stars dug in, however, scoring three in the fourth and sixth innings while holding the 'Hawks offense in check.
Dominic Caroselli led the way at the plate for the Coaching All-Stars, going 5-for-5 with four runs scored.
"They really took it to us. We lacked a few timely hits and they played a great defensive game," Snowhawk third baseman and head coach Jeff Smith said. "We turned five double plays to their two but they out hit us. We were missing a few outfielders but we have no excuses. We had the chances."
With the loss, the Snowhawks move to an overall record of 6-3 heading into their final game of 2016 on Aug. 29, a contest against Lizzy-T's Tamarack Tap.
First pitch for is set for 7:30 p.m, a Snowshoe Park in Lake Tomahawk.
