Rhinelander Lions Club supports 'Let's Go Fishing'
The mission of the Rhinelander chapter of "Let's Go Fishing" is to enrich the lives of individuals through fishing and boating excursions.
"Let's Go Fishing" offers services to senior citizen groups, individuals, nursing home residents, assisted living center resident, veterans, widows, widowers, social service agencies, hospice patient groups, disabled adults, church groups, adult day care residents, along with youth groups.
Outings can be scheduled weekly with the local "Let's Go Fishing" chapter during the summer and fall months. Each excursion is approximately 2 hours in length.
The group's 32-foot pontoon boat is docked by Hodag Park in Rhinelander, and has some open dates available yet this year. Safe, handicap-accessible pontoon boat, life vests, rods and reels, live bait, refreshments, volunteer fishing guide and most importantly, lots of fun are all provided, free of charge.
