Nineteen Rhinelander Swim Club athletes between the ages of 6-18 participated in the Midwest Regional Swim Meet earlier this month at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.

The meet played host to 70 teams from eight states across the Midwest.

RSC coach Jenny Heck was on deck for the meet.

"It was a fun meet and a great opportunity for swimmers to compete at an amazing complex," she said. "As coaches we are extremely impressed with the swimmers who extended their season by six weeks in order to compete in this qualifying meet. It was also fantastic to have high school swimmers there and swimming fast. They are great role models for the younger swimmers, encouraging and supportive of them and the sport."
