BMX club members compete in La Crosse
Robbie Deede, Hodag BMX track operator, placed first in the 28-35 Expert Class in the event. Owen Ives finished eighth in 10 Intermediate, Bella Johnson placed fourth in 11 Novice and fifth in 11 Girls Cruiser, Chad Johnson finished second in 28-35 Intermediate and 31-35 Cruiser, Brian Sturtevant placed fourth in 46-50 intermediate and sixth in 46-50 cruiser, Raven Sturtevant finished second in 13-14 Girls Cruiser and fourth in 14 Girls, Addison Swaney was fifth in 5 and under Novice, Ashton Swaney took fourth in 9 Expert and Emerson Swaney was third in 11 Girls.
The Gold Cup Series is a competition pitting riders from seven states across the Midwest. The championship race in the series will be held Sept. 26 in Lincoln, Nebraska.
