Woodpecker takes men's pool league title
Woodpecker defeated Crescent Corners five games to one to take the league championship. Members of the championship-winning team were Kurt Keso, Mark Siech, Gary Vozka, Dave Swett, Bruce Gruening, Don Ebert, Steve Schuettner and Don Kussman.
Representing the runner-ups from Crescent Corners were Pete Miazga, Mike Hagen, Joe Hagen. Scott Yonker, Denny Houle, Jeff Hagen, Steve Hagen and Chuck Craig.
Moonlighting defeated Fisher's Resort 1 by a final of 5-2 to claim third place in the league.
The Moonlighting team consisted of Greg Piasecki, Mike "Hutch" Hutchison, Dave Hallas, Brent Kussman, Steve Cihla and Troy Coates.
Jake Fisher, Tim "Porky" Thilmany, Scott Roou, Shawn Towne, Matt Luce and Scott Hattelback represented Fisher's Resort 1.
The league also handed out year end-awards. The best sponsors in each division were Fisher's Resort 1, Crescent Corners, Twin Pines 4, and Twin Pines 2.
The top 5 shooters in the league were: Vozka with 10 table runs; Hutchison, Siech and Kussman with seven table runs each, and Mark Wozniak of Fisher's Resort 2 with four table runs.
The league would also like to thank Twin Pines for hosting the finals.
