Pawzitive Outdoor Games winners announced

In the fastest dog category the racers went up against a speed sign provided by the Rhinelander Police Department.
In the larger dog category (18 inches or taller at the withers) three dogs topped out at 29 mph.
The winning speedsters were Kaia, a Belgian Malinois owned by Gretchen Krassman; Calamity Jane, a heeler mix owned by Casey Hatch; and Max, a husky mix owned by Lauren Schafer.
In the smaller dog category (dogs below 18 inches at the withers) Skye, a border collie owned by Ulrike Cline, took first place with a top speed of 27 mph.
Water-loving dogs fearlessly leaped after their favorite toys during the dock diving competition.
Gunner, a Weimaraner hound mix owned by Whitney Schwager, soared the farthest.
In the agility competition dogs tackled jumps, ran through tunnels, beat the A-frame and more.
In the beginner division, first place went to Vader, a Labrador retriever owned by Jett Biolo. Second place went to Lily, owned by Abby Belbot, and in third place was Shadow owned by Bonnie Pettinato.
In the intermediate division, Morgan, an English setter owned by Jane Kubisiak, took first place. Second place went to BillyJo, an Aussie/poodle owned by Sharon Wiese. Fen, an Australian cattle dog owned by Catherine Parker, took third place.
In the advanced division, Cline's border collie took first place. Second place went to Lily, a springer spaniel owned by Anna Wood, and third place went to Jeeba, an American Eskimo dog owned by Kris Riebe.
