Library to host kid's program on wildlife rehabilitation
"Attendees will learn about the wonderful work this group does in the Northwoods and will get to meet some of their rehabilitating critters," the library said in a press release. "Admission is free but attendees are encouraged to check out Wild Instincts website, www.wildinstinctsrehab.com, for a list of simple items that can be donated at the program to help this organization with its work."
Baby Storytime
The Rhinelander District Library's summer session of Baby Storytime is in progress. This storytime is conducted on Mondays at 10:15 a.m. Designed for young ones ages 6 months to 2 years of age, this 20-minute program consists of simple stories, fingerplays, and music. A social/play time follows each program.
Preschool Programs
Two programs for preschoolers are scheduled at the Rhinelander District Library on Thursday, Nov. 5.
A 20-minute Parent/Tot Time program for children age 2 to 3 1/2 who are accompanied by an adult will begin at 10 a.m. in the children's department.
A 40-minute Story Time program for children age 3 1/2 to 6 is scheduled for 10 a.m. in the library meeting room. At the completion of the programs, caregivers and children from both groups will gather together to do a simple craft.
