Wisconsin-based TV show achieves 15th consecutive Emmy nomination
"Into the Outdoors" received a nomination in the category of "Outstanding Achievement for Children/Youth/Teen Programming" and has earned a nomination each year since its debut in 2001, earning a total of 15 nominations and winning 10 Emmy Awards. Both shows are produced by Discover Mediaworks, which is owned by St. Germain natives Mark and Lisa Rose.
"We are honored to be recognized for our creative initiatives," said Mark Rose, executive producer of "Discover Wisconsin" and "Into the Outdoors." "We contribute our success over the years to discovering original stories and telling them in the most compelling manner that is attractive to our audiences."
The 2015 Emmy nominations were announced by Jake Hamilton and Natalie Bomke of Fox-owned WFLD - Channel 32 Chicago. Those involved in the production of "Discover Wisconsin," include executive producers Mark and Lisa Rose; producers: Chad Diedrick, Anthony Marz, Carlo Besasie, and host Stephanie Klett. Those involved in the production of "Into the Outdoors," include executive producers Mark and Lisa Rose, producer Dan Bertalan, and hosts Hailey Rose, Josh Busher, Caroline Smith, and Amelia Mackey.
"The 'Into the Outdoors' episode nominated this year holds a special spot in our heart." said Mark Rose, "Our daughter Hailey, age 13, is a third generation Rose to host a program that Discover Mediaworks produces; she is anxiously awaiting to attend her first Emmy Awards event."
