Rhinelander Lion Tony Cirilli honored with Wisconsin Lions Foundation Birch-Sturm Fellowship award
Rhinelander Lions Club honored Cirilli with the Birch-Sturm as a result of his activities as a Lion serving the Rhinelander Lions community, the club said in a press release.
Cirilli's membership in the Rhinelander Lions Club began February 2004. He is also a past member of the Hodag Lions Club.
In 1990 the Birch-Sturm Fellowship was created by the Wisconsin Lions Foundation to honor those individuals who exemplify undying dedication and commitment to Lionism. The Fellowship is named after Wisconsin's only International presidents, Frank V. Birch and Clarence L. Sturm who were great supporters of the Foundation.
Cirilli received a lapel pin, plaque, and a patch identifying his Birch-Sturm Fellowship. His name has also been in inscribed on the Master Plaque, honoring all recipients.
