Cross Country Bar and Grill held a Packers/Bear Party on Sept. 13 to kick off the 2015-16 football season. Packers and Bears fans alike joined in the fun. Jell-O and pudding shots were made by Northwoods Alliance for Temporary Housing (NATH) board member Bob Wolf while NATH volunteers and members helped to serve food, and sell 50/50 and raffle tickets.

"The fans at Cross Country were very generous and a total of $897.50 was raised for NATH's Frederick Place homeless shelter," NATH officials said in a press release.

This money will allow a resident to stay at Frederick Place for 21 days, the release states.
