It was a very successfuly event for the club as every participating athlete brought home a medal, notched a top-10 finish or recorded a personal best time.
Hodag swimmers earning medalist honors at the meet included:
• Jack Antonuk, 11 - first place, 25-yard breaststroke; second place, 25 butterfly and 100 individual medley; fifth place, 25 freestyle.
• Russell Benoy, 14 - second place, 50 backstroke and 50 freestyle; third place, 50 breaststroke and 100IM; fourth place 50 butterfly.
• Abi Winnicki, 9 - second place, 25 freestyle, 25 butterfly and 100 IM; third place, 25 backstroke; fourth place, 25 breaststroke.
• Makenna Winnicki, 12 - first place, 25 backstroke, second 25 butterfly, 100 IM and 25 freestyle; fourth place, 25 breaststroke.
Other Hodags who placed inside the top 10 in at least one event included:
• Martin Hogar, 14 - seventh place, 50 freestyle and 50 butterfly; eighth place 100 IM; ninth place, 50 breaststroke.
• Lisa Kennedy - 10th place, 25 butterfly; eighth place, 25 freestyle.
• Vivian Lamers, 7 - ninth place, 100 IM.
• Marissa McGuire, 14 - sixth place, 50 breaststroke; eighth place. 100 IM; ninth place, 50 freestyle; 10th place, 50 butterfly.
• Madison Michel, 8 - 10th place, 100 IM.
Swimmers with personal best times in one or more events included:
Jack Antonuk, Russell Benoy, Claire Caselton, Martin Hogar, Emma Houg, Lisa Kennedy, Ava Lamers, Vivian Lamers, Sarah Marshall, Marissa McGuire, Sophia Miljevich, Sage Schultz, Noelle St. Pierre, Kadyn Taylor, Abi Winnicki, Makenna Winnicki and Sierra Woodford.
The club will take a short break from competition during the Thanksgiving holiday. The Hodags will return to the starting blocks Saturday, Dec. 5 for the first conference meet of the season in Merrill.
