Tourism council announces winner of fall photo contest
Sheri Gaber of Rhinelander was named the grand-prize winner after her photo, "Fun with fall leaves in Oneida County," received the most votes. More than 500 votes were cast between Oct. 5 and Oct. 16, accourding to the tourism council.
Gaber will receive an Oneida County getaway package that includes a two-night stay in Tomahawk and a $250 prepaid credit card.
The Oneida County Tourism Council received photos from across Wisconsin and the Midwest for the contest, which asked fans for their best fall photos from Oneida County, whether it was fall foliage, family-friendly fall events, musky fishing or anything else.
Two other finalists were also selected for the fan vote: Catherine Hoffman of Milwaukee and Rachel DeYoung of Westmont, Ill.
