New physical therapist joins Marshfield Clinic Woodruff Center
He joins fellow physical therapists Danielle Brand, Maureen Drewsen, Jay Halminiak, Steve Hoffmeister, Sara Keuler and Susanne Schaars; providing complete physical therapy and rehabilitative care for the Northwoods.
"I'm thrilled to have joined the Marshfield Clinic Woodruff Center as I was seeking a team of professionals dedicated to quality and individualized patient care," Kakuschke said. In prior years he served as both a church Bishop and a missionary. He was a scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America, and he holds a third-degree black belt. He is master instructor for the martial arts.
"In my personal time I enjoy spending time with my wife and family, serving in our church and training /teaching in the martial arts. I also enjoy ballroom dancing, various sports, canoeing, snowshoeing, sculpture, photography, genealogy, writing and research," he said.
Kakuschke specializes in manual therapy, as well as outpatient orthopedics, treatment of spine, cranio-mandibular/TMJ disorders, heel pain and post-surgical total knee therapy.
He earned his master's degree in physical therapy with an emphasis on orthopedics and manual therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences - Institute of Physical Therapy. He is certified in manual therapy. His initial practicing degree was a bachelor's degree in physical therapy from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse.
