"These two couples have shown their support by giving of both their time and money to benefit Rhinelander area graduating seniors over the long-term," she said.
"The Kemmeters have been giving local scholarships since the early 1980s and continue to this day," RASFâsaid in a press release. "They are regular presenters at the annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony and also have made contributions to the RASF General Fund. Don Kemmeter, who is a retired RHS teacher, shares a passion with his wife, Ann, for students and supporting their continuing education beyond high school.
The Matyskas have both taught at RHS. Additionally, Adam volunteered as master of ceremonies for nine annual awards ceremonies. They have supported the foundation with their gifts of time and money which have allowed RASF to continue growing the general fund to provide more scholarships."
The 2015 Scholarship Awards Ceremony is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, May 17 in the RHS Auditorium.
