Group of Rhinelander swimmers heading to Midwest regionals
Competing for the Hodags will be Jack Antonuk, Ethan Brown, Mathias Fugle, Alex Gaber, Charlie Heck, Grace Heck, Joseph Heck, Maria Heck, Thaddeus Heck, Marissa McGuire, Noelle St. Pierre and Abi Winnicki.
These swimmers achieved qualifying time standards in individual events during the 2014-2015 season, giving them the opportunity to compete. The group will be swimming as part of the Northern Lakes Aquatic Club. NLAC is supported by and consists of various athletes and aquatic programs from across northern Wisconsin.
Eight other swimmers had times which made them eligible to swim - but for various reasons they will be unable to compete. Those swimmers are Taylor Macak, Makenna Winnicki, Marissa Martin, Russell Benoy, Ella Schiek, Sam Schoppe, Miranda Erdmann and Kirby Kuehn.
