Rhinelander police investigating complaints tied to Steve's Glass and Upholstery
"We are currently investigating several complaints involving Steve's Glass and Upholstry (sic) located at 1201 North Stevens Street," the post reads.
"Any customers who have paid to have work completed and the work was never done please contact Detective Sergeant Josh Chia-mulera at 715-365-5300. The owner of the business is Steve Montalto. ... Mr. Montalto currently has a warrant for his arrest. Any tips on his whereabouts can be kept confidential and would be greatly appreciated."
Captain Ron Lueneburg said the department started receiving complaints within the last month.
"So far, I believe we've had roughly four or five people that have contacted our office," he said. "I want to say all of this has started within the last two or three weeks."
Lueneburg said the department believes it is possible Montalto is currently out of the area and may even be out of the state.
