In 1903, spurred by its competitors, the Rhinelander Brewery introduced the traditional German spring beer - Bock. Brewed shortly before Easter and sold until it was gone, the percentage of alcohol in this brand of beer was so low that the the brewery initially advertised it as a Malt Tonic adapted to help the sick. The label shown here is from the 1930s.
