Area caregivers honored for superior performance
The event featured several presentations designed to advance professional development and continuing education for those working in the long-term care field.
The honorees recognized for standout performance were Vicky Walker, program assistant at Grace Lodge Assisted Living in Rhinelander; Kerry Bloedorn, care partner at Helping Hands Senior Homecare Services in Rhinelander; and Ryan Larson, certified nursing assistant at Avanti Health & Rehabilitation Center in Minocqua.
Diane Pieniazek and Stacey Klein serve as co-chairs of the Northern Wisconsin Long Term Care Network. Both are from Avanti Health & Rehabilitation Center in Minocqua.
The Annual Direct Caregivers' Conference was sponsored by Nicolet College and the Northern Wisconsin Long Term Caregivers Workforce Network.
