Hintzke brings 30-plus years of accounting experience to Rhinelander
Hintzke's new office, located at 315 Conro Street, opened Jan. 30. Hintzke splits his time between the Northwoods and New Berlin, where he also has an office.
Hintzke said he decided to bring his services north for greater exposure and because of his love for the community.
"It's a good way to get greater exposure. I live up there part-time and ultimately we'll be living up there full-time," he said.
"It's a good community. We enjoy working with the people and we know our services will be well-perceived and accepted with our niches and specialities and we hope to build a good client base over the years."
Hintzke offers five core services including tax problem resolution, tax preparation, retirement planning, elder care service planning and business accounting and support for the tourism industry.
He said he's looking forward to serving the tourism businesses of the Northwoods.
"It's business accounting. We help businesses prepare their financial statement, their tax returns, their sales tax returns and offer any business support as far as advice," he said.
"Issues always come up when running businesses from day-to-day, and with my 30-plus years experience in the industry, I have a lot of advice to give and input to bring."
He's also looking forward to helping those who have run into tax trouble.
"That basically involves getting people out of tax trouble with the IRS and the Department of Revenue," he said. "We're well-versed in that area."
