Miller & Mike
Professional jugglers, clowns and comedians Miller & Mike will perform a free program that will entertain the whole family from 2 to 2:45 p.m. at the Nicolet College Learning Resource Center Theater Tuesday, June 30.. This program is part of the Rhinelander District Library's summer reading program and is sponsored by the Northern Arts Council.
12th annual Library Tea Party
Registrations are now being accepted for the 12th annual Tea Party, that will be held at the Rhinelander District Library from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1. This year's theme is "Music, Music." Registration can be completed by stopping in the children's department or calling (715) 365-1070 ext. 2. This program is sponsored by the Rhinelander Woman's Club.
Preschool programs
Two programs for preschoolers are scheduled at the Rhinelander District Library on Thursday, July 2. A 20-minute Parent/Tot Time program for children age 2 to 3 1/2 who are accompanied by an adult begins at 10 a.m. in the children's department.
A 40-minute Story Time program for children age 3 1/2 to 6 is scheduled for 10 a.m. in the library meeting room. At the completion of the programs, caregivers and children from both groups will gather together to do a simple craft.
Hillbilly Science
The Rhinelander District Library will be hosting two 45-minute Hillbilly Science programs in the library meeting room on Wednesday, July 8 with performances at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Join Dr. Cleatus Beaker who brings science education combined with a great deal of humor to children across the country. A free ticket is needed to attend this program and can be obtained by visiting the children's department or calling (715) 365-1070, ext. 2.
