This picture of the Haugsbys in front of their store at 642 Keenan Street was most likely taken just after they moved into this new location (from across the street) in 1935, according to their grandson, Doug Haugsby.
In 1938 and for an unknown period of time, Ole had a second grocery store called Haugsby's Mason Street Market at 908 Mason Street.
Signe passed away in 1970. Ole passed away in 1988 at the age of 94.
