Horticulture assistant available to answer questions
As a horticulture assistant, Terzinski will answer questions related to fruits, vegetables, lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, pests, wildlife, water quality, soil and other related topics by bringing the research results of the University of Wisconsin-Madison to the residents of Oneida County to use in their own yards, gardens and communities, the UW-Extension said in a press release.
Terzinski will be available to take public inquiries from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays; noon to 4 p.m. Wednesdays; and from 2 to 4 p.m. on Fridays from June through August at the University of Wisconsin-Extension Oneida County office at the Rhinelander/Oneida County Airport. She will also be on-site at the Hodag Farmers Market on Saturday mornings at Pioneer Park in Rhinelander. She can be contacted by phone at (715) 365-2750 or by email at [email protected].
Terzinski has two years of previous experience as the horticulture assistant for Oneida County and is a 2012 graduate of Rhinelander High School.
