The Pollination Project, a California based philanthropic foundation, awarded a $1,000 grant to the Northern Wisconsin Center for Working People. The grant is broken into two granting cycles and the organization has earned its first round of funding. The Pollination Project gives seed grants to fund projects that change the world. Since 2013, the Pollination Project has provided funding to nearly 1,000 seed grants in 55 countries.
"The grant dollars will help the Center to print Workers' Rights Manuals for distribution, upgrading the website and for office operations," said Bernie Knox, vice-president and grant writer for the workers' rights center.
