First, the cans of tuna will be used at the Relay for Life as weight in the luminary bags that honor survivors and those who have lost their battle with cancer. After the Relay of Life event, the cans will be donated to the food pantry for distribution to area families in need. "Everyone is encouraged to purchase cans of tuna and donate them to the cause," the pantry said in a press release. Collection totes are available at participating Rhinelander area churches or they can be dropped off at the food pantry (627 Coon St.) weekday mornings. Call (715) 360-0400 for more information or pickup.
