Library's Buck Lake Bash set for Aug. 5
Baby Storytime
The Rhinelander District Library's summer session of Baby Storytime is in progress. This storytime is conducted on Mondays at 10:15 a.m. Designed for young ones ages 6 months to 2 years of age, this 20-minute program consists of simple stories, fingerplays, and music. A social/play time follows each program.
Dave Dall & Friends at Buck Lake
The library will host a musical program on Wednesday, Aug. 5 from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. at Buck Lake featuring Dave Dall & Friends. "Enjoy the lake and some great children's music," the library encourages.
Inclement weather location will be in the library meeting room.
Preschool Picnic in the Park
The children's department will host a picnic in the park for their preschool storytime groups from 10:30 a.m. until noon Thursday, Aug. 6 at Pioneer Park Shelter #2, (nearest the playground equipment).
Older siblings and friends are encouraged to join the fun.
Children are encouraged to dress up as their favorite superhero for this event. Bring a lunch and the library will provide drinks and a dessert. Registration is required and can be completed by stopping by the children's department or calling (715) 365-1070 ext. 2.
