Fireworks to accompany band concert Wednesday night
The special show will include a fireworks display accompanying the patriotic "National Emblem March" and "Stars and Stripes Forever."
Many styles of music will be featured during the program, which is expected to run long awaiting the darkening of the sky, according to director Jim Pekol. Fireworks are planned to begin shortly before 9 p.m.
The Riverwalk concerts are free, although goodwill donations will be collected. The performance is sponsored by Ripco Credit Union, and the fireworks display is being funded by Northland Music Center in downtown Rhinelander.
In case of inclement weather, the concert will move to the senior center (Department on Aging) across the parking lot.
